NOPNA has coordinated with SF Parks Alliance and the SFMTA to get a beautiful mural installed on Lyon St between Fulton and McAllister.
We’re looking for volunteers to help the artist in street closure, cleaning, and painting!

This summer, the Lyon Slow Street (between Fulton and McAllister) may be the site of a new street mural painted by local artist Matley Hurd.
If you’d like to voice your support for this beautification project - please join next Thursday’s ISCOTT meeting (Jun 27, 9am) where the City will review (and hopefully approve) the proposal.

The Transportation Authority is exploring ways to improve safety and access to parks, schools, hospitals, and recreational areas for children, seniors, and people with disabilities in the Marina, Pacific Heights, Presidio Heights, Cathedral Hill, Laurel Village, Jordan Park, and North of the Panhandle neighborhoods, as part of the District 2 Safety Study. The study will use community feedback to develop a toolkit of safety improvements and recommend guidance for implementing improvements.
The study was requested by District 2 Transportation Authority Board Member Catherine Stefani and will be conducted in collaboration with the SFMTA.
